For Horseback Riding at the Lake Of The Ozarks Visit Ozark Homestead Riding Stables Located Inside Lake of the Ozarks State Park Offering Safe and Fun Guided Horseback Riding For Both Experienced and Inexperienced Riders.

At Ozark Homestead we strive to make Horseback Riding at The Lake Of Ozarks one of the best  memories of your visit. Our Guides have years of experience at trail riding, and we believe that our Horses are some of the most gentle you will find anywhere, wheter you have years of experience or you have never been on a Horse before we have one that you will love. Riding Through the Beautiful Lake of the Ozark State Park Not only will you see Native Missouri Forests but you will most likely see some of the local Wildlife in this 17,000 acre wildlife Sanctuary.

 
With over 30 horses and several Guides we are able to handle any size group and we do offer a group discount with an advance reservation.
Our Hours Of Operation Are 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.  Seven days a week

We are located in the Lake Of The Ozark State Park. Take Hwy 54 to Osage Beach and go East on Hwy  42. Go 4 miles on Hwy 42 to Hwy 134 ( the entrance to the State Park) Turn right on Hwy 134 and go 4 miles To the riding Stables on the left.

We Offer several different Rides

 

   Our most popular is a 1 hour ride that is 2.5 miles long that goes through the mature hardwood Ozark forest and along a bluff overlooking the Lake. This ride is $30 and no appointment is needed, unless you have 10 or more in your group, however the minimum age is 5 years

.

   We also have a 20 minute ride that is less challenging but just as beautiful it is 3/4 mile long (the only problem is that it just does'nt last long enough) The cost of this ride is $20, no appointment needed the age limit is 5 and up.

 

For the little cowboys and cowgirls that are not ready to be riding alone we offer Pony Rides for Kids between the age of 1 and 10. On this trail the parents lead the kids on a short forested walking trail near the stables. The cost of this ride is only $10 and gives parents a little quality time with the children.
